So it's like TeamViewer, except I haven't messed around with waking up the pc remotely aspect. In my case, I'd have my pc on at one place all the time and connect to it from my MBP remotely using "unattended access" (here's an explanation from tech jockey). So, A while ago I heard of a program called AnyDesk, which works pretty well (it's like team viewer) and started using it for a similar purpose. I get that the official dock is better but I don't get how. I bought this thing for $18 before my Steam Deck got here because I thought having a keyboard and mouse connected would help set it up and it seems to work fine but I didn't even really need it because I just used AnyDesk and my desktop PC instead (I still use AnyDesk to do anything I need a keyboard for although any remote desktop software would work).
